Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Here's how.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app (instant)

Scroll to the bottom and click Delete my account

Confirm in the dialog. Your name and email are removed immediately.

Items and photos you added will remain in the group, credited to "Former Member," so the family's work isn't lost. If you also want your photos removed, email us after deleting your account.

What gets deleted

Your name and email address — removed immediately
Your Google profile photo reference — removed immediately
Your login session — invalidated immediately

What is retained (for group continuity)

Items and photos you added — attributed to "Former Member"
Your group memberships — preserved so the group still has a complete history

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot sign in, email support@starviewdata.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include the email address you used to sign up. Starview Data will process your request within 30 days.

Revoking Google access

You can also revoke SortStuff's access to your Google account at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions. This prevents future sign-ins but does not automatically remove existing data — follow Option 1 or 2 above to also erase your data.
